Carbon Collective Hybrid Shampoo

The delivery of the new Carbon Collective Hybrid Shampoo gave me the perfect opportunity to give the Clio a maintenance wash today!

Hybrid shampoo is an si02 shampoo which is designed to deep clean and add protection in one step! It is suitable for protected and unprotected surfaces, while boosting gloss & beading!

Recommended dilution rate is 50ml to 20l of warm water. The shampoo is low foam to aid with rinsing, so it’s low on sudz, however you can add lusso to boost the sudz if desired.

Hybrid feels very slick and even with this shampoo being on the low foam side, you can still feel the slickness of the product helping the mitt to glide over the vehicles surface. Don't be alarmed by the lack of suds, this shampoo can effective clean the vehicles surface while helping to avoid water spots on the warmer days and aiding with the rinse process.

I’m not usually a fan of these types of shampoos however Hybrid Shampoo did add gloss and the panels on the Clio that are currently unprotected began to bead, it is recommended to wash the panels twice if you want to improve the results. While you can see the vehicles surface becoming hydrophobic from the first wash, I would recommend cleaning the panels twice for the maximum effect.

I've had the time to test this shampoo on a few different cars, while it is perfect for topping up your existing protection, unprotected cars can also benefit from using this shampoo. Panels with no protection start to bead and you can see the water sheeting off from your rinse stage.

The ease of use of this product is fantastic, even down to the hydrophobic properties helping the efficiency of your drying stage which is a perfect bonus on those warm summer days! If you are looking for a shampoo that can improve your maintenance washes while adding a little protection in one step, then I would highly recommend this shampoo!
