Car Pro - Fog Fight Review

Over the last few weeks as the weather has been getting colder, I noticed that the Clio was starting have a very annoying issue with the glass fogging. The interior was feeling slightly damp and it was taking so long to clear the fog, which was becoming a nightmare. I purchased this handy Car Pro Fog Fight kit from IO detail just before new year to see if we could improve the issue I was having. I was eager to get the Fog Fight applied so I completely forgot to get a before photo. The fog fight kit is excellent, you have everything you need, and the product is super easy to apply and remove.

I did have a slight issue with the windscreen so before the frosty photos from yesterday I did apply a second coat which has helped massively! All other windows in the Clio have had one coat and no further issue since the application!

The product does state that it last for around a month, depending on whether the glass has been cleaned during this time. So for the first month after application it did seem to perform well during the first 3 weeks and you could start to see the effects of the Fog Fight wearing off towards the end of the 4th week. On a test on a second vehicle where the glass was cleaned after the second week, the effects of the product were non existent after the clean, so would recommend to leave the interior side of the glass alone where possible if you are looking to get the max potential out of it, or simply re-apply the product when you need to clean the interior side of the glass.

Overall I was very happy with the results, it greatly improved not only the amount of fogging but also the screen was able to clear a lot faster than when it was uncoated. It is simple enough to apply, so reapplying again during your maintenance washes and interior cleans isn't too much of a hassle, with the added bonus of the effects of fog fight working for longer.
